With extensive knowledge and experience in many fields, Virginia's project management, communication and proactive style, passion, design, grasp on technology, attention to detail ensuring quality assurance, has been invaluable irrespective of the application. Virginia has the ability to lead and/or be an effective team member, conceptualise, brainstorm, research, scope, brief, analyse, collaborate and adapt, to develop the best solution, habitually within tight deadlines and budgets, to fulfil a client’s expectations. Approachable and confident in communicating with all levels of personnel and no matter how busy, willing to assist others.
Virginia has a number of qualifications: MBA specialising in Project Management, Marketing, New Business & HR; Cert IV in Training and Assessment; Internationally Certified Results Coach; Graphic Design; Clothing Design; Computer Programming and Marketing. Aside from e-Learning instructional, graphic, clothing and software design, Virginia has also held a number of production, learning and development, project and national management positions within many diverse corporate organisations.
The various organisations Virginia has worked include: South 32 the Illawarra Coal sector sold to GM3 - Training Specialist, Commonwealth Bank OneCloud Project - next generation Cloud-based technology - R&D phase into BAU, Department of Education on a Ministerial Project as Project Manager along with an e-Learning Instructional, Graphic and Web Design Consultant. Instructional Design for Autism Spectrum, Lion Nutrition, NRMA, Jetstar, Coffee Club and QA for NSW Health, Neutrogena and input into AMP, McDonalds and for Human on the Westpac 'Do the Right Thing' project. Other organisations include Macquarie Bank, Man Investments, Leighton Contractors, DLA Phillips Fox, Deutsche Bank, Colonial, CBA, QBE, Tourism NSW, Business Events Sydney, JLT, Dell, Alienware, Subaru, Inchcape, George Western Foods, Westpac, Optus, SBS, FINSIA, Hunt & Hunt, Ogilvy, Pacific Power, State Electricity Commission of Victoria, Lend Lease, Transfield, Australian Institute of Management, Australian Institute of Company Directors and Altura Learning.
Ansett Airfreight to TNT, Colonial to CBA, Mercantile to QBE, DLA Piper to DLA Phillips Fox, Jardine Lloyd Thompson, Ascham and Australian Institute of Company Directors; these are several of the corporate rebrands that Virginia has been involved in. In addition to the concept, design, implementing national training, Virginia sat on six of the committees, two of which were international.
Other projects have included tenders/pitches, EOIs, IPOs, prospectuses, conferences, roadshows, exhibitions, events, presentations, photo-reporting, product launches, dealer presentations, gala dinners, workshops, awards and websites.
Project Management and design requires a number of skills to interpret objectives, briefs and budgets to balance company and personal expectations. Understanding privacy requirements is at the fore of Virginia’s work practise with experience in dealing with a number of confidential ventures.
A sense of humour is a must.
